Around the village most of our business’s will be offered something special for the weekend, this included Pop up’s, music, special menus and open events. Even Nags burgers were back for the weekend!
Filming for our DVD took place all around the village during the weekend. We think everyone had a wonderful weekend. The memories organisers all had time to enjoy the weekend too. This was due to the many amazing volunteers before, during and after the event.
The whole village make a great effort to join in the celebration as you will see from our DVD.
The generous prizes from around the island contributed to a great raffle and tombola.
Did you know, we began without a penny and we are delighted to say, that thanks to everyone’s support and generosity, we made a profit of just over £400 and promptly invested £84 in this website.
A memories group open meeting will be held in Whiting Bay Lesser Hall on Sunday 1st September at 2pm. Everyone is invited to attend, to help shape the future of the group.
You can always be sure of a warm welcome in Whiting Bay.
